2nd Movement Party

2nd Movement and the Nona Foundation are putting together an event to raise money for teenage mothers in Sri Lanka!

The purpose of this event is to help and support underprivileged teenage mothers and their children in Sri Lanka. This small girls are victims of rape and unfortunately in most cases by their own families. Teenage single mothers as a result of sexual abuse are often seen as a disgrace to the family and are usually rejected by them and also by society it self. That's where the NONA foundation comes in.

They provide a shelter, care, education and a system of reintegrating these young mothers back to society. Sheleter because they have nowhere to go after beeing rejected by their own families. Care to show them that love does exist out there and also teach them how to care for their own babies. Education so these girls have the knowledge and their own means afterwords to stand on their own feet. And finally support for reintegrating back to society by getting them if possible a job and a house to start with.

This party is a non profit party and all the people involved with it will have no personal earnings out of this. That's why the entrance fee is minimum three euros and on top as much as you please. The three euros is to cover the basic needs of the party and the administrative costs to make this happen (renting the place, renting equipment,..). The target will be to gather enough money to hire a teacher for a full year for those girls.

Small Reminder

LIFE'S JOURNEY is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit, what a ride!

But at the same time

You need to be aware of the balance and discipline that if you overdo it, than you might also fall earlier and the ride will be too short!
